Pastimes

Sometimes, I work on other hobbies such as hiking, camping, photography, amateur radio, net-surfing, and toying around with computers (like the Raspberry Pi). 

Every once in a while, I also enjoy golfing, and a trip to the casino.

I try to keep an eye on the news. My favorite sources are National Public Radio, The Washington Post, Public Television, and, The New York Times.  I’ve found The US Supreme Court significantly interesting.

I enjoy most spectator sports, whenever I can. My favorite professional teams are listed below. Some of my favorite sports teams from outside the area are Carolina Panthers in the NFL (I like to look in the Panthers Home Paper), New York Rangers in the NHL, Boston Celtics in the NBA, Los Angeles Dodgers in Major League Baseball, Boise State Broncos in College Football and University of North Carolina Tar Heels in College Basketball. Recently, I’ve been following the Seattle Sounders and Seattle Reign soccer teams.

I am a radio amateur, KC7NJB. I am currently a member of the radio club that we have at work.

I like movies. A lot of times, I watch them on HBO. I now watch a lot of streaming movies from NetFlix and Hulu.
